Although
suitable for simple comparisons, the t-test is frequently misused, leading
to biased and/or invalid results. If you're not sure which statistical
tests are appropriate for your data, Alpha Biostats can help.

TRANSLATING YOUR
REQUEST INTO RESULTS
When we receive your
request for information, a consultant will call
you to discuss the specifics of your project.
Using the information you provide,
the consultant will outline the project, estimate the costs and projected
completion date, and send you a written project summary/cost estimate via
fax or e-mail.
After reviewing the project summary and cost
estimate, you may contact the consultant to either confirm the project, or
discuss any changes you want to make to your service request.
Once you are satisfied that: 1) the requested
services will meet your needs; 2) the cost estimate is within your
budget; and 3) the projected completion date is acceptable, your consultant
will email or fax to you a project-specific letter of agreement to
review, sign and fax back.
After receiving your signed letter of agreement,
your consultant will contact you to arrange data transfer. In most cases,
data can be sent to the consultant as an email attachment.
Your consultant will contact you if any questions
arise in the course of completing your project.
Whenever possible, your completed project will be
sent to you as an email attachment. Research design and data analysis
reports will be in MS Word or text format (your choice), which will allow
you to cut and paste the contents directly into your proposal or manuscript
drafts.
Alpha Biostats takes pride in consistently meeting
deadlines, and our consultants strive to complete all projects on or before
their projected completion dates. In the unlikely event that a delay is
unavoidable, you will be notified promptly.
An invoice will be appended to the completed
project documents sent by your consultant. Payment is expected within 30
days.
